How APRIL® Works
APRIL® creates several
aged images from each picture processed. Follow the five steps
below to prepare a picture for aging. When the aging is finished,
you can view the images from your browser or
download them to you own computer. We also keep the results on
the APRIL® web site so you can come back and view them
at a later date.
APRIL® uses a token system for you to use
to pay for your agings. Each aging uses one token.
- Register as an APRIL® user and log in
- Complete the AGE Profile
- Select your picture. It will upload automatically
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Watch as APRIL® ages your face.
Picture Guidelines
You must provide a good quality picture for
APRIL® to work properly.
Follow these steps carefully.

- Look straight at the camera. Do not angle head up, down or sideways.
- Pull hair away from face. Remove anything that covers any part of the face or neck. (ex.*Glasses )
- Facial hair that is not shortly groomed will cause incorrect detection of facial shape, resulting in unsatisfactory results.
- Do not smile or squint. Keep mouth closed.
- Use colored pictures. Not black & white, etc.
- Use image in which subject is completely in sharp focus.
- Use flat, even light. There can be no shadows on the face.
- Use plain background that contrasts with hair color. It cannot have a design or pattern.
- The pictures cannot be over or under exposed.
